Attendance
Education Welfare Officer - Mrs Sarah Nattress
The ethos at Seaview Primary School is for all children to Do MORE, Know MORE, and Be MORE.
Your child’s education is very important to us. Regular school attendance will help them fulfil their potential and ensure they have a brighter future. It will build confidence, friendships, and ambition. The MORE your child is in school, the MORE they will know and the MORE likely they are to succeed in the future.
We reward good attendance regularly.
* Class rewards - the top three classes will be announced in our weekly Seaview Stars celebration assembly. The winning class will receive an attendance trophy for the week. In addition to this, they will also have the opportunity to spin a wheel which will have 6 different sections displaying prizes for the winning class.
* Individual rewards - at the end of every week, each child with 100% attendance will receive a raffle ticket. These tickets can then be placed into one of three boxes which will have different rewards allocated to them. At the end of the half term, winning tickets will be drawn from each box.
* Our Education Welfare Officer will also reward improved attendance to pupils who have been targeted for additional support for attendance.
